Victim's advocate Stephanie Watson recognized as 'champion of change'

Kenton County Commonwealth's Attorney Office Victim's Advocate Stephanie Watson was recognized as a "Champion of Change" by the Family Nurturing Center at their 20th annual event.

Stephanie was honored for her work on behalf of all crime victims but especially children.

Watson has been the Victims Advocate in Kenton County since 2007.

This is the second time in as many years that Watson has been recognized by outside organizations for her work on behalf of victims of crime. In 2012, Watson was named "Victims Advocate of the Year" by the Hope In Heels Foundation.

The Family Nurturing Center is a non-profit social service agency located in Northern Kentucky and Hamilton County, OH dedicated to ending the cycle of child abuse by promoting individual well-being and healthy family relationships.
