Franzen defeats Daley after 'flyergate' scandal
Republican Steven J. Franzen has been elected county attorney over Democrat James A. Daley, who was appointed to the position in January 2009.
Daley's campaign gained negative attention after an amateurish flyer was distributed, unwittingly portraying some national rock stars as "crimnals."
The campaign said political operative Kathy Groob was behind it. Her company denies it.
