After renowned street artist Shepard Fairey caused a stir in Covington last month with
the unveiling of a new mural depicting an Asian child soldier brandishing an automatic rifle,
the city jumps into mural art once again, but with something tame and colorfully cool.

Newport's East Row residents
paid $5000 each for pool

East Row residents are spending time and money to renovate the pool's clubhouse into a fitness center and recreation room. Each of the pool's 50 members paid $5,000, which covered the purchase of the land and $50,000 for improvements and maintenance. Members also pay annual dues of $400. | External link
