St. Elizabeth Hospital's CEO
Gross will retire next year

After serving 25 years in the top spot at St. Elizabeth Healthcare, Joseph Gross will retire from the Northern Kentucky hospital system at the end of this year.

Church will spend $700,000
to rebuild statue of Jesus

"It brought a lot of attention and members to their church," he said. James Lynch says he spent a year constructing the statue based on a design by artist Brad Coriell. Lynch made it out of white beaded foam -- "like the kind you find in coffee cups" -- and hauled it from Florida to Ohio in three sections.

The I Love the Cov shirts are back! And they've had a makeover. The new high quality mens and womens t-shirts will be sold at the Farmer's Market all summer, beginning this Saturday. The Covington Farmer's Market is every Saturday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm in the 6th Street Promenade. The t-shirts are $20 and funds go to support Renaissance Covington, Inc. in their mission to revitalize downtown Covington.

Covington bank robbed
The Bank of Kentucky at 231 Scott St. was robbed at about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. The robber was reported by dispatchers as being a black man, 18-21 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds.
