To be held on June 12th at Park Place and Court Street, directly south of the bridge, events include tours of the bridge, floodwall murals and the bronze statues along historic Riverside Drive from 11am-3pm. Also enjoy vintage dancers, Civil War artifacts, live music including multiple bands, karaoke, bag pipers and a barbershop quartet. STORY |

BP lied, oil flow is bigger than we were told
New figures for the blown-out well at the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico show the amount of oil spewing may have been up to twice as much as previously thought, according to scientists consulting with the federal government.
