All residents in the City of Covington are required to have their dogs licensed annually. The licenses are due July 1st.

Firefighters train on bridge
If an emergency happens on the Purple People Bridge, firefighters from Cincinnati, Newport and Covington might all get called. So the departments, from three counties in two states, trained together, dangling over the Ohio River.


Kenton County has the most
homeless in NoKY

The 2010 Point-in-Time Count of the Homeless shows Kenton County has the most homeless people in Northern Kentucky, and little evidence of homelessness in rural areas.

Vote on smoking ban could
occur this summer

Rumors are flying about a July or August vote on a smoking ban in public places in Northern Kentucky fiscal courts.


Covington Catholic may
expand campus northward

Covington Catholic High School kept the possibility of expanding its campus northward, after supporters and a lawyer for the school on Monday successfully persuaded Park Hills City Council to amend a recent study.
